The work:
- Designs, codes, or configures, tests, debugs, deploys, documents, and maintains web service applications using a variety of software development toolkits, testing/verification applications and other tools, while adhering to specific development best practices and quality standards.
- Gathers business requirements, translating that information into detailed technical specifications from which programs will be written or configured, and validating that the proposed applications align with both the architectural design and the business needs.
- Responsible for troubleshooting and issue analysis, as well as coding, testing, and implementing software enhancements.
Here’s what you’ll need:
Lead Level
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, Information Systems, or other related courses. Undergraduates are welcome to apply.
- Must have at least 5+ years of work experience in Node.js
- Strong communication skills to work with clients and counterparts
- Excellent debugging and optimization skills
- Experience in Agile and Scrum methodology and practices
- Extensive knowledge and experience in software development design patterns
- Mastery of JavaScript (ES6), jQuery library, and CSS3
- Extensive experience with JavaScript frontend frameworks such as Angular or React
- Mastery of Node.js and frameworks such as ExpressJS, Loopback, and Sails
- Extensive experience with code versioning tools such as Git and collaboration tools such as confluence, JIRA
- Mastery of templating languages such as MoustacheJS, Handlebars, or Nunjucks
- Extensive experience with server-side CSS preprocessors such as SASS or LESS
- Experience leading teams and projects, and ability to take on complex problems and find solutions quickly
- Experience in the overall strategic direction of a company's software development efforts.
Bonus points if you have:
- Knowledge on developing secured application (against XSS and CSRF) by use of NSP and other tools
- Knowledge on specific technologies and platforms provided by the Company to client (mongoDB, GitHub, Cloudbees, AWS, JSON, Kibana)
