Lead Developer - Javascript (React), Rust, PHP.

A fantastic, long-standing, and forward-thinking communications company is searching for a Lead Developer (or Senior Developer looking to step up) to join their development team as they prepare to have a record year.

The role is full stack and is expected to be fairly evenly split, the platform is Serverless native on AWS.

Front end is React (Javascript), Back end is split between PHP and Rust* with mySQL and Postgres as well as some DynamoDB.

As a senior member of the team it is expected you’ll have a product-based approach.

i.e.

understand the business objectives and wider scope of the technical objectives.

Previous line management experience is preferred, although if you have deputised or mentored and looking for that next step then its worth is having a chat too.

You'll be a team member who is eager to share expertise, contribute to more general technical topics, exchange opinions, engage in debate, and help others.

With a number of SME Coaches in the company to support that training and development, they are outstanding at levelling up people and the team and quick to adapt new tools and technology.

Hybrid role.

Typically 1 day per week in the office (London). *non-commercial experience on Rust may well be considered.
