Title: Software Engineer – React, UI Developer Location: Orlando

Reports To: VP, Development FLSA Status: Exempt

Position Description: We are looking for a highly skilled JavaScript developer who is proficient with React.js. Your primary focus will be developing user interface components and implementing them following well-known React.js workflows. You will ensure that these components and the overall application are robust and easy to maintain. You will coordinate with rest of the team working on the different layers of the infrastructure. Therefore, a commitment to collaborative problem solving, and quality product is imperative.

Position Responsibilities:

Develop new user-facing features using React.js
Write well designed, testable, efficient code
Building reusable components and front-end libraries for future use
Transferring designs and wireframes into high quality code
Develop software verification plans and quality assurance procedures
Document and maintain software functionality
Optimize components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers
Collaborate with UI/UX team and Product Managers to implement designs
Troubleshoot front-end issues and bugs

Basic Qualifications:

BS degree in Computer Science or Engineering or relevant work experience
Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and JavaScript object model
Thorough understanding of React.js workflows (such as Redux)
Significant experience utilizing RESTful APIs
Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools
Experience with common front-end developing tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc
Experience with test-driven development
Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
Skilled in benchmarking and optimization
Knowledge of code versioning tools such as Git
Working knowledge of relational and nosql databases

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in healthcare industry
Experience with mobile applications
EMR integration experience is a plus
Experience with Microsoft Azure services such as App Services, Service Bus (MQ), Service Fabric, Web Jobs, Tasks and/or other related services
Familiarity with Microservice architecture
