Salary Range: Up to £75,000 depending on experience

We are seeking aspiring and established consultant engineers with front-end mobile application / ecommerce experience to drive forward our customers journey on Google Cloud.

Role Responsibilities

As a senior level engineer within appsbroker, how you structure your day is in your control outside of your attendance to critical meetings/ceremonies. Here is a generic overview of what to expect;

Assume full responsibility for crafting, nourishing, and scrutinising user stories throughout the design, development, and testing phases.
Exhibit impartiality in devising solutions and endeavour to minimise technical debt.
Actively engage in the agile planning, refinement and retrospective process to drive effective project management.
Nurture a culture of ongoing enhancement within the department, fostering a mindset of continuous progression.
Play a key role in the improvement of approved technologies and patterns, contributing to the development of enhanced and streamlined methodologies.
When issues arise that require the most advanced technical expertise, provide senior-level troubleshooting support to facilitate prompt and effective resolution.
Demonstrates proficiency in generating, documenting, and spearheading designs within an area of expertise that meets both functional and non-functional requirements, while taking into account any pertinent project constraints.
Possesses the skill to distil complex technical information into concise, easily comprehensible terms for stakeholders during projects.

Requirements

As the right candidate you will have:

Several years working experience as a Software Engineer with React-Native, React and TypeScript
Experience with the full lifecycle development and release from to the Apple App Store and Google Play Store (Kotlin / Swift)
Proficient in building applications that integrate with payment platforms and other RESTful/GraphQL web services
A drive to produce high-quality solutions using testing frameworks such as Jest and Maestro
Can gain an understanding of the project and business goals, which you can translate into technical solutions
Have experience in identifying, debugging and resolving complex issues on emulators and physical devices

Ideally experience in the following would be a huge accelerator:

eCommerce experience (payment/fraud detection)
An appreciation and understanding of accessibility would be really beneficial (this is a key part of testing and acceptance by our clients on their requirements)
Some familiarity with Sanity Studio
Experience with app debugging, using a tool such as Flipper
Familiarity with React Hook Form/form handling libraries
