Roles & Responsibilities

We are looking for a Web Application Developer on a 12 months extendable contract role.

Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain mobile and web services / applications.
Work closely with Core Application team on AS400 interfaces between backend systems and front-end applications.
Perform system analysis, design and system unit/integration testing.
Conduct and prepare feasibility study and technical specifications and end user system job instructions documents.
Liaise with external parties pertaining to system collaboration and system testing.
Observe, maintain and comply with the KPIs, work instructions, guidelines, security controls, audit controls and governance set.
Ensure quality deliverables, documentation and time-reporting for work assignments are performed

Technology Skills / Experience:

At least 3 years hands-on coding experience in .NET, ReactJS, React Native, AngularJS, JQuery, XML, SQL, web services, etc.
Proficient in Mobile application development on Xamarin.
Knowledgeable in .NET Web application development, modern microservices and containerization development.
Knowledgeable in Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS) to handle database design and practical experience in creation of SQL queries, stored procedures, views and triggers.
Analytical and thorough in handling work assignments.
Meticulous and highly accurate in performing coding and documentation. 8. Systematic in keeping track of time spent on projects assigned.
Experience in Java or other Mobile application development will be an added advantage.
Experience in AS400 DB2 development will be an added advantage.
Experience in Cloud Native application development will be an added advantage.
Domain knowledge in Life Insurance and/or experience in Life Insurance Web Applications will be an added advantage.
Education Level - Diploma/Degree in Computer Science or Information
