Roles & Responsibilities

We are looking for a Web Application Developer on a 12 months extendable contract role.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain mobile and web services / applications.
  • Work closely with Core Application team on AS400 interfaces between backend systems and front-end applications.
  • Perform system analysis, design and system unit/integration testing.
  • Conduct and prepare feasibility study and technical specifications and end user system job instructions documents.
  • Liaise with external parties pertaining to system collaboration and system testing.
  • Observe, maintain and comply with the KPIs, work instructions, guidelines, security controls, audit controls and governance set.
  • Ensure quality deliverables, documentation and time-reporting for work assignments are performed


Technology Skills / Experience:

  • At least 3 years hands-on coding experience in .NET, ReactJS, React Native, AngularJS, JQuery, XML, SQL, web services, etc.
  • Proficient in Mobile application development on Xamarin.
  • Knowledgeable in .NET Web application development, modern microservices and containerization development.
  • Knowledgeable in Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS) to handle database design and practical experience in creation of SQL queries, stored procedures, views and triggers.
  • Analytical and thorough in handling work assignments.
  • Meticulous and highly accurate in performing coding and documentation. 8. Systematic in keeping track of time spent on projects assigned.
  • Experience in Java or other Mobile application development will be an added advantage.
  • Experience in AS400 DB2 development will be an added advantage.
  • Experience in Cloud Native application development will be an added advantage.
  • Domain knowledge in Life Insurance and/or experience in Life Insurance Web Applications will be an added advantage.
  • Education Level - Diploma/Degree in Computer Science or Information
