Senior Front-End Developer – (React stack and Front-End Architecture focused)

We are hiring at Now Book It for a Senior Front-End Developer to join our growing team in Australia with at least 6+ years’ experience as a minimum!

We are looking for someone who is not only great with Front-End technology but who is also well-organized and analyses every situation with care. The candidate must be able to show leadership in small teams, empower and share responsibilities with their peers and take ownership of projects.

Must be legally authorized to work in Australia – (Permanent Residency or Citizen)

Now Book It is a leading restaurant reservation software development company with over 7500 customers. We are looking for passionate, enthusiastic, and proactive developers. We have grown from a team of 3 to 30 in the last 3 years with no sign of stopping as we expand into international markets.

We are adopting SDLC and industry current practices during our working processes, and our team covers from front-end all the way to backend and micro-services.

The successful candidate can be based anywhere in Australia, working in a remote work model!

Technical competencies:

At least a bachelor's degree or above in Software Engineering, Computer Science or a similar discipline is essential
Solid understanding of React and its eco-system
Solid understanding of Typescript
Demonstrate solid redux store design and data contract
Demonstrate modular architecture SPA design
Solid understanding of module packaging and versioning and trade-offs
Good understanding of hosting options and security related to SPA
Practical skill of container tech (need to be able to script Dockerfile is a must)
Practical skill in CI/CD tooling for Front-end application
Exposure to micro-frontend is a plus
Exposure to React-Native is a plus
Had experience in transforming legacy AngularJS applications to react stack is a plus

Soft Skills:

Diligent with time management and knowing when to escalate and seek help
Able to demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills
