About the Role

We’re seeking a skilled React Native App Developer to help build and maintain Campaign Nucleus’s mobile applications for iOS and Android. This is a full-time, remote role where you’ll work closely with our product, design, and backend teams to deliver intuitive, high-performing mobile experiences for real-world users.

You’ll play a meaningful role in shaping our mobile roadmap, improving existing features, and launching new functionality that directly supports campaigns and organizations in the field.

Key Responsibilities

·       Develop and maintain cross-platform mobile applications using React Native

·       Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to implement new features

·       Build clean, reusable, and scalable components

·       Integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services

·       Optimize application performance, stability, and usability

·       Debug issues and provide ongoing maintenance and improvements

·       Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices

·       Help ensure mobile apps meet quality, security, and accessibility standards

Required Qualifications

·       2+ years of professional experience building mobile apps with React Native

·       Strong proficiency in JavaScript and/or TypeScript

·       Experience with state management solutions (Redux, Context API, etc.)

·       Familiarity with REST APIs and mobile app architecture

·       Experience deploying apps to the Apple App Store and Google Play Store

·       Strong understanding of mobile UI/UX best practices

·       Comfortable working remotely and collaborating with a distributed team

·       Experience using Git in a team-based development environment

Preferred Qualifications

·       Experience with native mobile development (Swift, Kotlin, Objective-C, or Java)

·       Familiarity with Expo

·       Experience working on SaaS platforms or data-driven applications

·       Experience in Agile or Scrum environments

·       Interest in civic tech, campaigns, or mission-driven organizations
