Were looking for an Software Engineer who loves a serverless set up and would be interested in joining a small Manchester based tech team, working collaboratively to help them push on to the next level and deliver new products and projects.
So to give more detail on the above: Flexible working: 7.5 hour working day with your choice of a 30 or 60 minute lunch, start times from 5am (yes, 5am!) to 10am meaning you could finish work by 12.30pm if you skip lunch, 1pm if you dont!
Unlimited training budget: As long as its relevant to your role, you can study it and certify in it, all funded and supported by the company Hybrid working: Mondays and Fridays in the office with the team, welcome to work from home Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday The tech stack: CloudFlare, NewRelic, AWS serverless platforms (Lambda, API Gateway, CloudFormation, S3/CloudFront, Shield, Glue/Athena/QuickSight, CloudWatch/Logs/Xray, Cognito/IAM), React, Gatsby, Webpack, Babel, ES6, Node.js The team consists of another Full Stack Developer, a Data Engineer, a Data Scientist, a UX Designer and a UI Designer, this role is due to expansion and they will be continuing to grow this year.
Core focus: Review, improve and maintain their current AWS infrastructure and serverless stack Monitor performance using appropriate tooling (CloudWatch, New Relic, Splunk etc) Web app development, covering both the frontend and backend elements Implementation of new features and products across multiple environments Security audits of existing products Continue to develop coding standards and best practice Work with the team to implement and maintain continuous integration tooling Were looking for strong experience in: AWS and related technologies Also open to Azure experience Server-side coding experience Node.JS or C# etc Infrastructure-as-code CloudFormation, Terraform etc.
