This opportunity is onsite and requires you to be local to the Chicagoland area.

About The Role:

We are looking for a talented mid-level React Developer who will work with our UI/UX development team, business stakeholders, and designers to build interfaces for our leading-edge web-based products. This position reports to the Head of UI/UX Design and the role will work at our Chicago downtown office.

What You'll Do:

Work with designers to implement pixel-perfect UI designs and produce functionality as described by product managers.

Help to troubleshoot, test, and maintain the quality and security of web applications.

Produce meaningful unit tests for functionality to ensure backwards compatibility.

Leverage React's efficiency with re-painting in order to develop highly performant applications that handle heavy data flows.

What We're Looking For:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, business, engineering, or related field or equivalent work experience

2+ years of building web apps experience.

Local candidate

Demonstrated ability in developing in JavaScript with React, Material UI, Node.js, Typescript and ES6 or equivalent experience.

Knowledge of development methodologies, software design patterns, integration standards, and versioning.

Experience working in an Agile environment.

Additional technical skills in C#, Python and SQL a plus.

Knowledge of the financial markets a plus
