Meet the team
At Choco, our Engineering team is building the technology that transforms the food supply chain. As part of our eCommerce team, you’ll work with designers, backend engineers, and product managers to create seamless, scalable, and intuitive experiences for our food distributor partners and their customers.

The role
We’re looking for a Frontend Engineer who’s passionate about building user-centric, high-performing applications. You’ll take ownership of features end-to-end, from shaping product requirements with design and product to shipping polished, responsive interfaces that drive adoption and growth.

What you’ll do

Build and maintain responsive, user-friendly interfaces in React & TypeScript
Collaborate with design, product, and backend teams to deliver impactful features end-to-end
Contribute to and evolve our design system for a consistent, scalable user experience
Optimize for performance and reliability across devices and browsers
Take part in code reviews, testing, and continuous improvement of engineering practices
Stay up to date with industry trends and bring fresh ideas to the team

What we’re looking for

5+ years of experience in frontend engineering, ideally in React, TypeScript, GraphQL
Strong background in building scalable applications, with an eye for performance and UX
Ability to collaborate effectively across disciplines and communicate clearly
Experience in fast-paced, product-driven environments (startup/scale-up is a plus)
Bonus: exposure to Node.js, design systems, AWS/serverless, or eCommerce platforms
