The Coinbase Advisor team within Consumer & Business is building agentic trading and advisory experiences that help customers understand markets and act through increasingly intelligent product workflows.

About the role

This Senior Frontend Software Engineer focuses on high-quality, real-time consumer interfaces and collaborates across product, design, backend, and AI/ML teams. The role combines React and TypeScript web development with platform integrations and, where relevant, React Native experiences.

Responsibilities

• Build responsive, reliable, and polished frontend experiences for Coinbase Advisor and agentic trading workflows.
• Develop reusable React/TypeScript components and application architecture.
• Work with backend Go services and APIs to deliver real-time data and interactive financial experiences.
• Partner with AI/ML teams to integrate intelligent recommendations and agent-driven workflows into the product.
• Own feature quality from implementation through testing, instrumentation, launch, and iteration.
• Improve performance, accessibility, maintainability, and developer experience.

Qualifications

• Strong frontend engineering experience with React and TypeScript.
• Experience building complex consumer applications and real-time interfaces.
• React Native and cross-platform mobile experience are relevant.
• Ability to work across API boundaries and collaborate with backend and ML engineers.
• Strong product judgment and attention to security and user trust.
