Who We’re Looking For
We’re looking for a strong React Engineer II with the availability to work alongside our software team on behalf of a large enterprise, faith-based publishing and e-commerce client. This position is a fully remote 1099 and requires 30-40 hours per week through September 30, 2023. Contract extensions are a possibility. The pay range for this position is $75 - $90 per hour.
In your day-to-day work, you’ll be working alongside the client’s engineering team focused on content management and will be working to migrate the existing product from Angular to React.
You’ll be working with Figma files and should have a good eye for detail and design.

Requirements for the Role
- 3+ years of professional experience working in ReactJS
- Strong knowledge of the Javascript programming language
- Experience working in Next.js
- Proficient in consuming GraphQL APIs and REST APIs
- Understanding of the full web technology stack (e.g. HTTP, cookies, asset loading, caching,

- Experience writing and managing automated unit and integration test suites running in CI/CD pipelines
- Ability to translate designs and wireframes into high-quality code
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, exchange knowledge with colleagues, and be up-to-date with new trends
- Experience working in an Agile development environment
- Experience converting user stories into technical tasks and documenting those in project management software
Nice to Have
- Experience in Kubernetes and GraphQL/AWS AppSync a plus
- Experience writing in server-side applications built in Java or NodeJS
- AWS (Amazon Web Services) or other cloud technology experience including AWS Lambdas a plus
- Experience working in a remote team-based environment
