Position: React Developer

Type: 6-Month Contract-to-Hire (W2 Contract)

Hybrid in Columbus, Ohio

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled React Developer to join our team on a 6-month contract-to-hire basis. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing user-friendly, cross-device experiences that resonate with our end users. Collaborating closely with fellow engineers and Product Managers, you'll play a crucial role in rapidly prototyping innovative ideas that can be swiftly validated with real-world users. This position offers a dynamic opportunity to contribute to core product enhancements, ensuring the longevity and stability of our systems through comprehensive documentation and rigorous testing. As part of an agile development process, you'll also participate in peer code reviews and contribute to an efficient development workflow.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline.
Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in building robust and efficient applications.
Familiarity with current best practices in the Software Development Lifecycle.
Proficiency in the following:
- Delivering complex and high-performing web applications using React.
- Web Technologies: HTML, HTTP, CSS, Typescript.
- Tools/Frameworks: Axios, Webpack, JEST, Cypress, Storybook, MSW.
- Web security best practices (OWASP, ISO-27001, SOC 2).

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to rapidly prototype and test new ideas in the market.
Enhance existing core products by introducing new features and maintaining overall functionality.
Provide valuable insights and experience to guide systems design and development best practices.
Ensure the long-term stability of systems through meticulous documentation and rigorous testing.
Participate in peer code reviews, promoting code quality and knowledge sharing.
Contribute to an efficient development process and agile methodologies.
