SafeDay (Dolphin Dynamics Labs) is a profitable SaaS company headquartered in Singapore. Our platform protects frontline workers at some of the world's largest high-risk operations, processing a millions safety checks monthly across 100+ sites. Eight years in and expanding.

We're hiring a Front-End Engineer to work directly with the founders in our Singapore development team. You'll build and ship React.js features and content on our serverless AWS stack and see your work used in the field within weeks. We're looking for someone with an entrepreneurial heart, willing to get their hands dirty, keep learning and push the boundaries. The level of delegation and responsibility depends on the experience and skillset of the candidate.

Key requirements

  • 3+ years building production React applications
  • Solid experience with modern JavaScript (ES6+), React.js and related technologies such as Redux and Material-UI, Final Form, graphQL/Apollo
  • Familiarity with AWS serverless (Lambda/NodeJs, AppSync, Cognito). You'll deploy what you build
  • Experience optimising components for performance across devices and browsers
  • Data modelling in relational and NoSQL databases
  • An eye for detail and a solid understanding of design principles
  • Strong analytical and design skills
  • Ability to communicate ideas clearly
  • Comfortable working in a team as a contributor, with the ability to lead a small team on certain projects
  • Open to continuous learning and willing to share knowledge
  • Able to influence and support the continued development of the product
  • Clear written and spoken English

Nice to have

  • React Native experience and a proven track record building mobile applications
  • French or Mandarin (for App and support translation)
