Job Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Front-End React Developer to join our team on a hybrid basis in Kansas City, MO. This role involves the development and maintenance of responsive, scalable, and visually rich web applications using React.js (v18/19). The position starts as a contract with the potential for full-time conversion, depending on funding.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain modern web applications with React.js.

  • Collaborate with UI/UX designers and backend developers for seamless integration.

  • Optimize performance, scalability, and responsiveness.

  • Participate in peer code reviews and contribute to best practice guidelines.

  • Troubleshoot NPM builds and manage dependencies effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong experience with React.js, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and Redux.

  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs and asynchronous handling.

  • Comfortable using Docker, Git, and modern front-end build tools.

  • Exposure to TypeScript, testing frameworks (e.g., Jest), and CI/CD pipelines.
