About the role

As a Mobile Developer specialising in React Native at Entain, you will have the unique opportunity to develop leading solutions that are used by a large majority of our customers. You will join talented developers working as part of a dedicated team focused on creating and delivering our brands newest products and features coming to market.

You will also collaborate with other teams across our technology department on maintaining and improving our native mobile apps as a platform.

This is a great opportunity to join us as we progress further into the Cross-platform native mobile apps domain, using React Native at a scale that is hard to find in smaller software companies in Brisbane.

What you will do

Creating responsive and adaptive solutions that render and perform well on all devices used to deliver our products.
Implementing and maintaining efficient, scalable, and robust code to ensure the smooth operation of our React Native apps.
Working within the React Native development team and alongside the Quality Assurance team to create and execute test. plans for new and existing functionality.
Troubleshooting, debugging, and implementing long-term fixes to bugs.
Executing projects within timeframes and communicating well with all stakeholders.
Absorbing changes in scope or design.

Who we’re looking for

Demonstrated understanding of React Native development practices.
Strong proficiency in TypeScript.
Experience writing unit and functional tests using Detox and/or Jest.
Experience in optimising performance for iOS and Android platforms.
Building and creating pixel-perfect UIs across both mobile platforms.
Excellent knowledge of the mobile industry and the ability to develop our products using the latest device capabilities and trends.
Writing clear, concise, and well documented code.
Experience with VueJs or React.JS.
