Lead Automation Test Engineer (JavaScript)

We are currently in search of a remote Lead Automation Test Engineer with proficiency in JavaScript. This role involves testing our visualization product and ensuring its superior quality. You will work together with a team of developers, designers, and product managers to detect and resolve technical issues. Utilizing your expertise in automated testing and JavaScript, you will develop and maintain test cases, and contribute to improving our testing strategies.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the development team to detect and resolve technical issues
• Create and maintain automated test cases for our visualization product
• Ensure all non-functional requirements/testing are met
• Contribute to enhancing our testing strategies and processes
• Lead a team of experienced engineers
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members
• Actively participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to estimating and planning efforts

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in automation testing, using a value-driven approach
• Expertise in JavaScript and TypeScript
• A minimum of 1 year of relevant leadership experience
• Experience with integration testing tools such as Postman, Fitnesse, or Karate
• A sound understanding of non-functional requirements/testing such as performance, security, and accessibility
• Familiarity with OOP concepts
• Knowledge of architectural design and code
• Experience working in Agile teams and a good understanding of Agile principles
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
• Proficiency in English at a B2+ level

• Experience with React.js
• Proficiency with Enzyme
