EPAM is looking for an experienced Lead React Native Frontend Developer to build enterprise-grade mobile banking solutions.

This role combines hands-on technical development with team leadership, requiring a skilled professional who can write high-quality code while leading a distributed development team to success.



RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Design and implement complex React Native features for financial workflows across iOS and Android
  • Integrate with backend APIs and microservices, ensuring code quality and adherence to enterprise standards
  • Apply WCAG 2.1 Level AA accessibility and security best practices
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across mobile platforms
  • Lead and mentor a team of Native developers across distributed locations
  • Coordinate development activities and ensure alignment with sprint objectives
  • Collaborate with Backend, QA and Delivery lead on cross-functional delivery
  • Proactively escalate blockers and provide technical guidance to support team success

REQUIREMENTS
  • 8–10 years of software development including at least 4 years of hands-on React Native experience
  • Proven experience leading development teams in Agile/Scrum environments
  • Delivered enterprise mobile applications within regulated industries (banking, financial services or similar)
  • Strong communication skills and ability to balance technical delivery with team growth
  • Expert in React Native, JavaScript/TypeScript and cross-platform mobile development
  • Strong knowledge of mobile architecture, REST API integration and asynchronous programming
  • Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1) and modern tooling
  • Familiarity with biometric authentication, CMS integration and mobile security best practices
  • Experience delivering payment or transaction features in financial applications

NICE TO HAVE
  • Knowledge of cloud-native microservices architecture and regulatory compliance (PCI DSS, GDPR)
  • Experience with state management libraries, automated testing and app publishing (App Store/Google Play)
  • Previous collaboration with offshore or nearshore teams
