We are looking for a Frontend Software Engineer to join our team and contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of scalable, secure, and high-quality technical solutions, working across the full software lifecycle with a strong focus on frontend technologies.
Note:
Hybrid work model in Quito. Availability to attend the office a minimum of three (3) days per week is required.
Responsibilities
- Write clean and maintainable code while identifying and correcting technical debt
- Apply best practices such as refactoring and modularity based on core programming principles
- Select and apply appropriate design patterns, justifying their use to promote best practices
- Design complete technical solutions aligned with business needs, considering scalability, resilience, security, and quality attributes
- Design secure and resilient system integrations, managing API versions and applying messaging patterns
- Justify and implement cloud components to design scalable and efficient distributed solutions
- Define and implement version control strategies, resolve complex conflicts, and foster team collaboration
- Design container-based solutions, optimize images, and manage orchestration and security
- Design and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines, ensuring quality, traceability, and reliable deployments
- Design efficient relational models, optimize queries, and guarantee referential integrity
- Design NoSQL solutions based on use cases, managing performance and consistency
- Design secure solutions by applying security principles, managing confidential information, and complying with regulations such as PCI-DSS and GDPR
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience with Angular, React Native, and Java
- Proficiency in unit, integration, and end-to-end testing to validate functionality and reduce code errors
- Knowledge of system monitoring, alert identification, and incident response following established protocols
- Expertise in communicating clearly in technical contexts, participating actively in meetings and reviews, and adapting messaging for different audiences
- Skills in teamwork, sharing progress and roadblocks promptly, and adapting to different work styles within a team
