We are looking for a Senior C# Azure Engineer to design, develop, and improve the digital products and technology services provided to clients and employees, working within the Managing Investments Technology team to support Portfolio Management and Trading across the client's Asset Management.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and improve digital products and technology services for clients and employees
  • Apply a broad range of software engineering practices, from analyzing user needs and developing new features to automated testing and deployment
  • Ensure the quality, security, reliability, and compliance of solutions by applying digital principles and implementing functional and non-functional requirements
  • Build observability into solutions, monitor production health, help resolve incidents, and remediate the root cause of risks and issues
  • Understand, represent, and advocate for client needs
  • Share knowledge and expertise with colleagues, help with hiring, and contribute regularly to engineering culture and internal communities
  • Deliver a scalable, digital, and integrated Multi-Asset Portfolio Management and Trading platform
  • Work on new initiatives to introduce a service-based, event-driven, messaging architecture in Azure

Requirements

  • Bachelor's and/or Master's degree or equivalent focusing on Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline
  • 5+ years of experience with C# and .NET Core
  • Experience with messaging platforms, ideally Kafka
  • Experience with containers, ideally Kubernetes
  • Proficiency in React
  • Experience with microservices and event-driven architecture
  • Experience with cloud architecture and engineering, ideally on Microsoft Azure (Kubernetes Service, Container Apps, App Service, Functions, Event Grid, and Service Bus)
  • Knowledge of Agile, Test-Driven Development, and DevOps practices
  • Skills in engineering best practices and delivering Clean Code
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Keen interest in understanding how the business works
  • Passion for learning and innovation
  • English proficiency at B2 level or higher
