Job Description
As a Frontend React Software Engineer, you'll be an integral part of our high-performing Product Innovation team. You'll:
Craft Exceptional UIs: Specialize in building responsive and thoughtfully designed UIs using React, Typescript, and supporting technologies.
Full Development Lifecycle: Participate in all aspects of the software development lifecycle, from estimation and technical design to implementation, documentation, testing, deployment, and support.
Web Services Architecture: Build a modern web services architecture to seamlessly integrate with internal and external services and APIs.
Collaborative Environment: Collaborate closely with solution architects and developers to transform wireframes and creative designs into functional requirements and a releasable product.
Coding Excellence: Uphold strong coding standards for efficiency, readability, and reusability.
Qualifications
Our ideal Frontend React Software Engineer will possess the following qualifications:
Collaborative Spirit: You thrive on collaborating with both technical and non-technical team members to create an outstanding user experience.
Design Proficiency: Skilled in using modern design tools, wireframes, storyboards, journey maps, prototypes, flow diagrams, etc. Ability to balance user needs with brand guidelines, technical constraints, and business goals.
Educational Background: College degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a similar field is preferred.
Experience: 2+ years of experience in building and maintaining web applications with React, JavaScript, and CSS. Familiarity with software-as-a-service (SaaS) solutions is a plus.
Tech Skills: Experience with Typescript, Material UI JSS, MobX, Google Charts, CSS Grid Layout & Flexbox. Proficiency in web standards, modern browsers, responsive design, and the web technology stack. Experience with REST/JSON APIs, Git, and CI/CD tools.
Micro-services Knowledge: Experience in consuming micro-services.
Additional Information
Work Arrangements: For local candidates, this is a hybrid position, predominantly remote/virtual with occasional on-site activities in Indianapolis northside, approximately 1-2 times per week. For non-local candidates, it's primarily a virtual/remote position with occasional on-site travel (2-4 times per year) depending on location.
Legal Authorization: Candidates must be authorized to legally work in the USA without requiring employment visa sponsorship, now or in the future.
Salary: $ 116,000.00 160,000.00 Per Year
