Senior Full Stack Developer (React/Node)

Gorilla Logic is looking for a Senior Full Stack Developer, who will work with a team of engineers developing our client's system. This is a unique and highly technical role, requiring strong development experience in delivering leading-edge solutions. Our environment will require you to work effectively with your teammates, of course. But your real success will be measured by how well you couple critical thinking with self-motivation, enthusiasm, and determination.

Responsibilities

* Provide architectural leadership to the team and our client

* Work with an agile team to build, maintain, and optimize our client's applications

* Mentor fellow developers

* Work with DevOps and QA to build a quality focused CI/CD pipeline

* Proficient English and communications skills required

* Good analytical thinking and problem-solving skills

Technical Requirements

* Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or equivalent experience

* 5+ years of backend experience with Node.js/Express/NestJS

* 5+ years of experience with React/NextJS and state management libraries like Redux

* 5+ years of experience with modern JavaScript such as ES6, ES7 and Typescript

* Experience with GraphQL and Prisma

* Professional development experience with SQL and/or Redis database

* API and microservices use and development experience

* Cross browser/device responsive development experience

* Experience with Agile and CI/CD best practices

* Ability to test code for quality assurance

Bonus Skills

* Cloud development experience with Google Cloud Platform

* Java/Spring backend experience

* Apollo GraphQL experience

* Emotion JavaScript library

* Familiarity with modern architectural modalities such as microservices, serverless, JAMstack, event-based, pub/sub, and data streaming

* Container experience with Docker/Kubernetes
