Senior Full Stack Developer (Ruby/Java/React)

Gorilla Logic is looking for a back end heavy senior full stack Ruby/java/react developer, who will work with a team of engineers developing our client’s system. This is a unique and highly technical role, requiring strong development experience in delivering leading-edge solutions. Our environment will require you to work effectively with your teammates, of course. But your real success will be measured by how well you couple critical thinking with self-motivation, enthusiasm, and determination.

Responsibilities

*Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and support production code.

*Translation of UI/UX design wireframes to actual code.

*Work with product managers and stakeholders to prioritize and scope projects.

*Responsible for planning, tracking, and reporting on work progress.

*Responsible for code reviews and delivery of high-quality maintainable code.

*Good analytical thinking and problem-solving skill.

*Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.

*Demonstrated ability to learn, adapt and work independently.

Technical Requirements

*Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field (or equivalent experience).

*5+ years of full stack development experience.

*5+ years of Java backend development experience.

*2+ years of backend experience using Ruby

*5+ years of experience with modern JavaScript including ES6, ES7 and Typescript.

*4+ years of experience with React and state management libraries like Redux.

*Cross browser/device responsive development experience.

*Solid SQL database experience and skills (Postgres)

*Solid experience in API/Microservices development using REST/SOAP.

*Previous experience in API integration (OpenAPI).

*Experience with Agile and CI/CD best practices

*Experience using GoLang
