DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

As part of the team, you will design and deliver compelling customer-centric solutions focused on improving the financial wellbeing of a bank’s customers.

We are looking for engineers who are passionate about transformational change and help us redefine banking for the future. Join us as we reimagine services using the latest platforms and technology to better support our customers’ financial wellbeing.

Work with Adobe AEM to build reusable self-contained components and with SCSS and VanillaJS to allow our content team to bring a rich and dynamic user experience to life
Work with and configure build tools, such as webpack to help with your development flow
Build excellent software, value quality and catching issues as early as possible via automated tests and pre-merge checks
Work closely with a world-class UX team to deliver a best-in-class experience to our customers

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Must-have requirements:

At least 3 years of experience with Web Development
Solid understanding of Javascript (Core) or VanillaJS (kindly take note that we are not looking for ReactJS/ AngularJS, but a developer can use Javascript without frameworks)
Work experience with CSS pre-processors
Experience of building dynamic pages through use of CSS transitions and animation frameworks such as GSAP
Ability to demonstrate UI design literacy and a solid understanding of WCAG Accessibility 2.0, Level AA or higher
Experience with Frontend unit testing and familiarity with testing-library
Good understanding of Software Engineering principals
Experience with Agile way of working
Ability to think independently, work flexibly and be willing to learn and work with different web development tech stacks as required
Good command of English communication

Good-to-have requirements:

Experience with TypeScript
Familiarity with Adobe AEM CMS (Content Management System)
Good understanding of branding, UX and breaking-down stories as required
