Job Details

We are looking for a talented Senior Software Engineer to build and support new features on our SaaS and Mobile solutions for youth sports!

Job Duties:

Contribute to the development and maintenance of our software products, using your expertise to drive innovation and excellence.

Implement core product functionality as specified by the Product Managers in order to maintain our products, services, and leadership position in the sports administration market.

Work with both front-end and back-end web technologies to build state-of-the-art interfaces and strengthen our backend-side logic layer.

Help bridge the gap between UI elements and server-side infrastructure, taking an active role on both sides, and defining how our applications look and function.

Participate in code reviews to ensure the codebase is maintainable, scalable, and of high quality, maintaining a high standard of engineering excellence.

Work with the QA team to ensure that our products meet high standards of quality and reliability, ensuring our customers have the best possible experience.

Ideal Background:

6+ years of experience in software development in Ruby on Rails and React.js

Strong understanding of database design and management, including SQL and NoSQL databases

Experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS or Azure

Familiarity with front-end build tools, such as Webpack, Grunt and Gulp.js

Experience working with GraphQL

Familiarity with Agile development and Continuous Delivery practices

Solid experience in relational database engines, Firebird is a plus

Experience in Linux/Unix systems and shell scripting

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science
