A Leeds based business who are leaders in electronic control systems used in harsh environments are looking to recruit a Software Developer with Node.js backend and ReactJS front end skills.

This is a new skill set for the business and as such you will be the Software Developer who will be responsible for all Node.js and ReactJS task work.

The reason for recruiting this skill set is because their customers are wanting their control systems to have user interfaces and web applications developed in this technology to show all the data collected from the sensors within the control system.

The businesses tools sit in an extremely harsh environment, pulling information where C++ and Python gather the sensor information and currently provide this information to a Linux based GUI.

This approach is proving limiting to the businesses customer base as they must be running a linux machine.

As a result of this the company is looking to create a new front end which works with a web browser that then can be used on a tablet, laptop, hand held PDA, or PC so enabling a much more user friendly environment for the customer.

This system will be based on Node.js and ReactJS.
