Role Details

Reporting to the Sr Director, Product Development and working with the Lead Front-end developer, you will be focused on UI (React.js) development for Turn, our Core dealer advertising product platform, TurnX, a browser extension that provides pricing and market demand data, as well as a number of upcoming new UI initiatives. With dashboards and data visualizations galore, our products are data heavy and very visual requiring our developers to understand the data and how our users interact with it.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3+ years of React.js and CSS experience in production environments
  • Experience with REST APIs
  • Git experience and practiced at git workflows
  • Ability to adapt to new technologies and rapidly changing requirements
  • Thrives in a hard-working, fast-paced environment

Good to have

  • TypeScript experience
  • Next.js experience
  • Experience with Recharts or other charting libraries
  • Familiarity with CSS preprocessors (ex SCSS)
  • Good understanding of UX principles and accessibility guidelines
  • Experience building responsive sites
  • Experience with JS testing frameworks

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain our design system
  • Improve the UI design process and collaborate using tools such as Storybook, Chromatic, and Adobe XD
  • Use cutting-edge technology on our industry-leading products
  • Work with a world-class team of Developers, ML/AI researchers, and DevOps engineers
  • Build and interact with production systems running in various cloud providers (AWS, GCP and Azure)
  • Contribute to test cases and contribute to design and QA specs
