Responsibilities
  • Work with the global team to design and implement technical solutions for MOD Technology platform
  • Work with business stakeholders to translate business strategy into clear technical requirements
  • Continually improve CI/CD tools, processes and procedures
  • Provide support to the business users globally

Key Skill Requirements
  • Technical
  • 5+ years of practical experience in Core and Enterprise Java (8 or above)
  • 5+ years of practical experience in JavaScript and Web UI framework (Meteor / Angular)
  • Solid experience with SDLC tools (JIRA / Maven / Bamboo)
  • Good knowledge of Spring Framework and Spring Boot implementation
  • Good knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL / Sybase / MongoDB)
  • Good knowledge of Distributed Caching technologies
  • Good knowledge of Test Driven Development
  • Basic knowledge of *nix scripting
  • Other
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Experience working with Middle Office functions in a financial institution is an advantage
  • Experience in data processing and analysis tools (e.g. Spark, Presto) is an advantage
  • Experience in Cloud technologies (e.g. AWS, K8s, Docker) is an advantage
