Responsibilities
- Work with the global team to design and implement technical solutions for MOD Technology platform
- Work with business stakeholders to translate business strategy into clear technical requirements
- Continually improve CI/CD tools, processes and procedures
- Provide support to the business users globally
Key Skill Requirements
- Technical
- 5+ years of practical experience in Core and Enterprise Java (8 or above)
- 5+ years of practical experience in JavaScript and Web UI framework (Meteor / Angular)
- Solid experience with SDLC tools (JIRA / Maven / Bamboo)
- Good knowledge of Spring Framework and Spring Boot implementation
- Good knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL / Sybase / MongoDB)
- Good knowledge of Distributed Caching technologies
- Good knowledge of Test Driven Development
- Basic knowledge of *nix scripting
- Other
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Experience working with Middle Office functions in a financial institution is an advantage
- Experience in data processing and analysis tools (e.g. Spark, Presto) is an advantage
- Experience in Cloud technologies (e.g. AWS, K8s, Docker) is an advantage
