Our client has a Tech Hub in Athens with more than 80 employees and the Hub provides IT Services across all corporate functions of the organization in Europe & the USA.

What you will do:

As a Full Stack Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and modernizing web applications, with a strong focus on migrating legacy frontend components to React for a more dynamic and responsive user experience. You will work on both backend and frontend development, building scalable and high-performance solutions using Java for server-side logic and React.js for modern UI components. Your role will involve implementing RESTful APIs, managing data exchange between the client and server, optimizing application performance, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring best practices in software development.

Your main responsibilities will include:

Developing and maintaining high-performance web applications with a focus on scalability and user experience
implementing backend logic using Java and ensuring seamless communication between server and client
Developing dynamic, responsive front-end interfaces with React, integrating with backend services
Writing clean, testable, and efficient code, adhering to best software development practices
Troubleshooting, debugging, and optimizing applications for maximum speed and efficiency
Building and maintaining RESTful APIs, integrating third-party services as necessary

Bachelor’s Degree required Information Technology degree preferred
4+ years of experience in Java development, particularly in JSP
1+ year of hands-on experience with React.js
Solid experience with state management libraries (e.g., Redux, Context API)
Knowledge of RESTful APIs, and experience in designing and consuming web services.
Familiarity with database systems (SQL), and hands-on experience with database queries and optimization
Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and understanding of modern development workflows (CI/CD)
Strong understanding of web development principles and best practices
Familiarity with agile software development methodologies
