Who We Are:

Every industry has a moment when technology finally catches up to the people doing the work.

We are building that moment for legal.

Neostella creates connected legal technology that brings together the data, workflows, and systems legal teams rely on every day.

Our platform helps firms move faster, collaborate more effectively, and focus on delivering stronger outcomes for their clients.

We believe the legal industry deserves more from its technology. That belief drives us to challenge the status quo and build systems designed for the way modern teams actually work.

We build with courage and measure our work by the impact it creates for our customers.

Recognized as one of Forbes’ Best Startup Employers in the Americas for 2026, we are growing with people who want their work to matter.

If you want to build software that changes how an industry operates, you belong here. As we continue to expand, we are seeking a React Developer to join our team!

Why this role matters right now:

Neostella is scaling fast, and as our platform continues to grow, delivering seamless, intuitive, and high-performing user experiences is more important than ever. Our frontend applications are a critical part of how customers interact with our products, and they must be fast, responsive, and aligned with both user needs and business goals.

This role exists because we need engineers who can bring our product experiences to life—translating complex requirements into clean, functional, and visually compelling interfaces. The React Developer will play a key role in building scalable frontend systems that enhance usability, performance, and overall product quality.

Your work will directly impact how users experience our platform, how efficiently we can deliver new features, and how effectively we scale our frontend architecture. This is an opportunity to contribute to meaningful product development while growing your skills in a fast-paced SaaS environment.

What you’ll manage:

As a React Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining responsive web applications that support Neostella’s platform. You’ll work primarily with React, JavaScript, and modern frontend technologies to build user interfaces that are both functional and visually polished.

You will collaborate closely with designers, backend engineers, and cross-functional teams to translate Figma designs, wireframes, and business requirements into high-quality frontend components. This includes building reusable component libraries, participating in integration testing, and ensuring consistency across the application.

This role requires a strong balance of technical execution and collaboration. You’ll be expected to write clean, maintainable code while contributing to team processes, participating in code reviews, and continuously improving the performance and usability of our applications.

What you bring:

We’re looking for a developer who combines strong frontend fundamentals with attention to detail and a passion for user experience. You are comfortable working with modern JavaScript frameworks, building responsive interfaces, and optimizing performance.

You take ownership of your work, write clean and scalable code, and proactively identify improvements. You’re open to feedback, committed to continuous learning, and thrive in agile environments where priorities can shift quickly.

You communicate clearly, collaborate effectively across teams, and understand the importance of building interfaces that are not only visually appealing but also performant and user-friendly.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop high-quality, maintainable code and features within defined timelines, following best practices and coding standards
  • Collaborate with developers to conduct integration testing and ensure functionality before deployment to QA
  • Design, build, and test responsive user interfaces that meet user and business requirements
  • Translate Figma designs, wireframes, and technical documentation into pixel-perfect frontend components
  • Build reusable components and libraries to improve scalability and efficiency
  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to maintain high code quality
  • Create and maintain technical documentation to support onboarding and long-term maintainability
  • Stay up to date with UI/UX trends, performance optimization techniques, and frontend best practices
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
  • 2+ years of professional experience in frontend development
  • Strong experience with React (including hooks) and JavaScript
  • Proficiency in TypeScript or strong ability to learn quickly
  • Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and responsive web design principles
  • Familiarity with Material UI or similar component libraries
  • Basic knowledge of state management (Context API, Redux, or similar) and performance optimization
  • Understanding of object-oriented programming principles
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments is a plus
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills (C1 or equivalent)
  • Excellent collaboration skills and ability to work cross-functionally

Technical Environment:

  • Languages & Frameworks: JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Material UI
  • Tools: GitHub, Jira, Sentry
  • Cloud: AWS Amplify
  • Health insurance
  • Flexible vacation time
  • Birthday leave
  • Christmas bonus (25 days)
  • Tenure bonus
  • English classes
  • In-Office benefits

*All resumes/CVs must be submitted in English.
