The Growth Engineering team contributes directly to New Relic’s highest impact business areas. The Growth team’s mission is to acquire, convert, and provide value to all of New Relic’s customers globally. We build cross-functional features that span product lines and break down organizational barriers to deliver quick results to our customers.
Our team is passionate about solving the hardest engineering challenges quickly and efficiently. We work with many teams, products, and technology stacks to identify inefficiencies, challenges, and opportunities and solve them! We’re a team of engineers by nature - working to make the customer experience better and make our services more efficient and scalable.
What you'll do
- In this full-stack role you will work with various internal teams to solve different engineering challenges
- Identify problems, design a solution, and implement your solution
- Have autonomy to propose novel solutions - and implement them
- Participate and lead deep technical discussions
- Have a direct impact to New Relic’s customer base
This role requires
- 5+ years of experience in shipping customer-facing features
- 5 or more years of backend programming experience
- Previous frontend engineering experience or a desire to learn frontend frameworks
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Strong problem solving experience
- Experience in multiple backend programming languages and frameworks
Bonus points if you have
- Experience in Identity and Access Management
- Experience in Billing and Reporting
- Experience in Monetization
- Experience in Agile

Estimated Base Pay Range: $ 140,000 - $ 175,000
Consistent with New Relic's values and applicable law, we provide the following information to promote pay transparency and equity. The base pay range above represents a good faith estimate of the low and high end base pay range for the listed position. This role may be eligible for the corporate bonus plan (or, if a sales role, a commission plan as defined in the sales incentive plan document), participation in our stock equity plan, short- and long-term incentives, and other department-specific awards that may be applicable. In addition, New Relic provides a variety of benefits to employees. The range provided may also represent candidate ranges and may not reflect the full range or geographic differential for an individual tenured employee.
