We are looking for a Day 2 Software Engineer to support the operation and maintenance of mission-critical applications in a 24/7 production environment. You will troubleshoot application issues, resolve production incidents, and ensure software reliability, performance, and operational readiness.

Key Responsibilities

Provide Day 2 application support, including troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and incident resolution.
Diagnose and resolve software issues related to code, configuration, integration, and performance.
Support application deployments, configuration updates, and post-release validation.
Work closely with development, QA, infrastructure, and support teams to maintain service availability.
Investigate integration issues across APIs, messaging platforms, and microservices.
Maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and knowledge articles.
Participate in 24/7 standby support, production deployments, and major incident management.

Requirements

Singapore Citizen (mandatory).
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related discipline.
2–5 years of experience in software development, application support, or production support.
Hands-on experience with Node.js, React, Kafka, Keycloak, MQTT, Docker, Kubernetes/Podman, MongoDB, and IBM MQ.
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills with experience supporting enterprise applications.
Familiarity with microservices architecture, software configuration, and performance monitoring.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work independently.
Willingness to participate in 24/7 standby, shift work, and after-hours support when required.
