React Developer with Investment Banking

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior React Developer with over 12 years of professional experience in front-end development and a strong background in investment banking and capital markets. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in React.js, modern JavaScript/TypeScript, and UI/UX best practices, along with experience in building complex, scalable, and high-performance financial applications.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the design and development of front-end applications using React.js, Redux, TypeScript, and related frameworks.
Work closely with business analysts, product owners, and investment banking stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions.
Build real-time, data-intensive dashboards and trading platforms with low-latency performance.
Ensure best practices in UI/UX design, coding standards, security, and performance optimization.
Mentor and guide junior developers, conducting code reviews and technical workshops.
Collaborate with back-end teams working on Java, .NET, or Python services to ensure seamless integration.
Leverage domain expertise to optimize solutions for trading, risk management, compliance, settlements, and portfolio management systems.
Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to continuous delivery pipelines.
Stay updated with the latest in React ecosystem, financial technology, and capital markets innovations.

Required Skills & Experience

12+ years of professional experience in front-end software development.
8+ years of hands-on experience in React.js, Redux, Hooks, TypeScript, ES6+, and modern front-end architecture.
Strong experience in building large-scale financial or trading applications in the investment banking domain.
Knowledge of capital markets workflows (equities, derivatives, fixed income, FX, risk management, clearing/settlement).
Experience with RESTful APIs, WebSockets, GraphQL, and integration with real-time data feeds.
Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, SCSS, Responsive Design, and UI frameworks (Material-UI, Ant Design, Bootstrap, etc.).
Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud Platform) and CI/CD pipelines.
Strong problem-solving, debugging, and performance optimization skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
