We are building world changing products. You'll be part of the team responsible for bringing the Nxu cloud and mobile solutions from concept to production launch. You will own end-to-end development and deployment of web applications (including Microapps) and cross-platform mobile applications built on AWS. Key Responsibilities:

Hands-on backend services development in Java, Spring Boot and AWS technologies

Hands-on frontend development in React Technologies

Ability to work independently, take ownership and deliver quality product

Establish standards and best practices, participate in design and code reviews

Support production applications and releases

Perform performance and scalability analysis

Implement integration and unit test coverage

What You'll Do

Work in a production Java Stack (Java/Springs) using relational databases (Postgres or MySQL or MS SQL)

Design and develop effective REST APIs

Work within a Microservices and Distributed architecture

Work across the entire stack, including frontend development using React (or similar JS frameworks)

Don't be shy about sharing any experience you might have with AWS or CI/CD tools (like Maven, Git, Docker, etc.)

Personal Qualifications:

B.S. in Computer Science or similar field of Engineering would be great!

Scrappy "wearer-of-hats" who gets excited by chances to learn new things & drive to completion

Comfortable & self-accountable in a fast-paced environment with little guidance or direct oversight

While much of this team works predominately remote (~80%), we collaborate in-person most Mondays at our Tempe office (20% hybrid) so you'll need to be located in the greater Phoenix metro area
