Trusted by some of the UK’s biggest brands, including Aldi, Five Guys, and ITV, we help organisations connect, engage, and empower their people through smarter, more personalised internal communication. With our next stage of expansion underway, we’re building a team of bold, ambitious thinkers ready to make their mark at a high-growth, purpose-driven SaaS company. If you’re looking to shape the future of work and grow alongside a company that’s going places, now’s the time to join Oak.

About the Role

We’re looking for a Senior Mobile Developer with deep React Native expertise to lead development of Oak’s cross-platform mobile app. You’ll take ownership of the mobile experience—shaping its architecture, performance, and future roadmap—while ensuring our users can stay connected wherever they work.

This is a hands-on, high-impact role suited to someone who combines deep technical ability with a product-driven mindset.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead mobile development using React Native for both iOS and Android
  • Own mobile architecture decisions and performance optimisation
  • Work closely with product, design, and backend teams to deliver seamless mobile features
  • Integrate APIs and manage mobile app lifecycle including App Store/Play Store submissions
  • Stay on top of mobile trends, frameworks, and tooling to keep Oak at the cutting edge
  • Mentor other developers and ensure best practices in mobile development

What We’re Looking For

  • 5+ years in mobile development with 3+ years in React Native
  • Strong JavaScript/TypeScript skills and deep familiarity with mobile SDKs and APIs
  • Experience delivering production-grade apps with scale, security, and analytics in mind
  • Experience with native modules, push notifications, and offline functionality
  • Ownership mindset and passion for building great mobile user experiences

Why Join Oak?

  • A meaningful role in a mission-led SaaS company with strong growth and product-market fit
  • The chance to work with household brands and solve real-world enterprise challenges
  • Flexible hybrid or remote working options
  • Private health insurance, life insurance, and Employee Assistance Programme (EAP)
  • Gym contribution and travel allowance
  • Enhanced maternity, paternity, and discretionary leave
  • Generous holiday policy (25 days + Bank Holidays + additional discretionary days)
  • Regular team socials and a positive, collaborative culture
