About the Role.

We seek a Python Developer to join a growing platform revolutionizing travel and house-sitting experiences. You’ll primarily focus on building and maintaining backend services using Python, supporting the delivery of seamless and reliable user experiences. Familiarity with frontend technologies, particularly React, is a plus, but the main focus will be backend development.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a remote-first environment while contributing to a platform used by travelers and homeowners worldwide.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, maintain, and optimize backend services and RESTful APIs using Python
Collaborate with frontend, design, and product teams to build scalable and reliable systems
Work with relational and/or non-relational databases (SQL, NoSQL)
Ensure the backend architecture is efficient, secure, and scalable
Occasionally support or collaborate with frontend tasks if familiar with React
Participate in Agile workflows, code reviews, and technical discussions

Must-Have:

3+ years of professional experience with Python development
Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and backend service design
Experience working with databases (SQL and/or NoSQL)
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to code quality
Comfortable working remotely and collaborating with distributed teams
Based in Brazil

Nice-to-Have:

Experience or familiarity with React
Willingness to occasionally contribute to frontend development tasks
Familiarity with containerization (e.g., Docker) is a plus
Exposure to cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure)
