The Role:

As a Software Engineer at OTR, you'll start a rewarding journey creating and enhancing tools to improve the efficiency of our employees and our customers.

You will be a key member of a small team that focuses on collaboration and innovation over high structure. We believe that software can do amazing things and are willing to try most of them.

Although our primary position is Software development, there are times that we need to step in and help with support ranging from phone systems to EDI integrations.

Experience/Qualifications

At this time we would not sponsor visas.
Local candidates to Chicago
A bachelor's degree is highly preferred.
Experience in React and Node
Strong Proficiency in JavaScript
Familiarity with web frameworks KOA, Express
Basic knowledge of CSS
Familiarity with RESTFUL API’s
Optimizing components for maximum performance
Demonstrated skills in building relationships and establishing rapport with colleagues, leaders, and client
