Our Team:
Parasol is building the future of the participatory internet. Our mission is to help businesses worldwide onboard the next billion people onto web3 to unlock the new internet economy.

We are a team of creatives 🧠 and system tinkerers 🧩 that are driving innovation at the intersection of technology and entertainment. We are industry experts who have invented, built and shipped category-defining hardware and software products to billions of people around the world. We enable developers and enterprises to build next-generation blockchain-enabled applications, launch modern networks for financial institutions and game economies and secure the ownership of their digital assets.

Your Role:
As a Sr. Full-Stack Software Engineer on our Applications team, you will have the opportunity to take on complex and influential projects that will shape the direction of the digital asset industry. At Parasol, you will be challenged with a wide range of difficult problems, from creating new blockchain products to securing the digital asset supply chains of top IP holders and finding new techniques to combat on-chain fraud. As a senior member of our engineering team, you will be expected to work cross-functionally across the software platform, not just within your own specific area of expertise. We value a thoughtful, collaborative software development process and a practical approach to delivering solutions.

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with Product and Design teams to develop new features on the Parasol platform
  • Build and improve the performance and reliability of the product by working on new and existing features
  • Write and maintain automated tests to ensure the quality of new features
  • Review code for correctness, style, and security concerns
  • Improve the performance, maintainability, and operations of the Parasol codebase
  • Respond to alerts and bug reports to support the production software
  • Gain familiarity with the business and contribute to the exploration of solution space
  • Contribute to team culture as an early team member

Minimum Qualifications:
  • 6+ years of experience as a Full-Stack or Frontend Software Engineer on production applications
  • Experience implementing polished and performant frontends (React, Next.js)
  • Experience with building Web3/dApp frontends using Web3.js or APIs
  • Experience with backend systems that read events from, query and write to blockchain state, coupled with a deep understanding of EVM
  • Deploying and monitoring high-quality production systems
  • Experience working on Agile projects and familiar with CI/CD setup and optimization.

Nice to have:
  • Experience working with or being a power user of Bitcoin, Ethereum or any other blockchain technology
  • Work experience or knowledge of the finance industry, payments, trading and/or exchange systems
  • Prior experience with Next.js and Tailwind

We strive to create a workplace that is inclusive and where everyone feels a sense of belonging. Our leadership principles prioritize psychological safety, empathy, and human connection.
