Role: Senior JavaScript Platform Engineer Salary: £75k per year Location: Remote My client has created this new role of Senior JavaScript Platform Engineer to help us in the next stage of our development and delivery of ambitious plans.

They are currently seeking an experienced Snr.

Platform Engineer with a strong background in areas such as AWS, React, and MongoDB to join our team and play a pivotal role to enable us to scale rapidly.

* Strong knowledge of deployment into GCP/AWS/Azure services using Terraform.

* Strong hands-on JavaScript experience in production environments using React, Node.js.

* Develop, build, and maintain code on complex micro-serviced code bases.

* Assist in modernising existing code bases.

* Apply optimisation, performance testing and monitoring tools.

* Experience with MongoDB, including administration, performance tuning, and backup/recovery.

* Fluent in JavaScript (min.

3 years production experience), Python or Go a plus.

* Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools, such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK.

* Knowledge of containerisation and orchestration technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes.

* Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines and tools * Automate and make improvements to development and release processes, version control.

* API scaling/deployment/configuration/maintenance * Oauth2/AaaS * Knowledge of NCSC secure design principles * Knowledge of Websocket/Messaging buses * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail.

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
