We are currently seeking a highly skilled React developer with demonstrated experience in developing hybrid applications using React Native or Ionic to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in the development and launch of an extension to our flagship application, The Weather Network / MétéoMédia. Our team is committed to creating a brand-new hybrid weather app, and we are confident that your expertise and dedication will be invaluable in bringing this vision to life.

** If you’re not as familiar with the React Native or Ionic frameworks, but you’re a great React developer, we still want to hear from you!***

Please note, this is a 6 month contract until September 2024

WHAT'S THE DAY TO DAY LOOK LIKE?

Create a hybrid app incorporating React technologies, including React Native and/or Capacitor, to enhance user experiences.
Collaborate closely with the development team to design, implement, and refine features within our applications.
Adhere to the principles of Clean Code and Clean Architecture in software development
Actively participate in the requirement analysis, design, implementation, integration, testing, and deployment processes of our hybrid weather application.
Strive to optimize performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application.
Engage actively as a team member, communicating regularly and collaborating effectively with other developers.

WE ARE HOPING YOU HAVE…

Minimum of three years of React development experience
Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS
Experience in developing applications with React Native or Ionic is a significant advantage
Strong familiarity with web application development
Familiarity with iOS and Android application development
Familiarity with working with and integrating third-party libraries such as Firebase, Google Analytics, and Google Ads
Solid Object Oriented Design and Analysis Skills and modern development practices
Experience working with Test Driven Development and Unit Testing
Practical experience with design patterns
