About the opportunity:

LiveAuctioneers (an affiliate of ATG) is hiring a (US full-time remote) Senior React Native Developer. Our inclusive teams use a friendly and collaborative small-team approach (5-6 engineers per team) to help us build the trusted marketplace of collectibles curated by experts. We operate and build on a service-oriented, event-driven architecture, utilizing continuous integration and continuous delivery. We build in Go, Node, React and React-Native. We use AWS with ECS, Docker and Lambdas which all use RabbitMQ and PubNub for decoupled systems.

ATG will provide all necessary computing and communication equipment and will never ask a potential employee to purchase work equipment on their own account and seek reimbursement.

What your contributions will be:

Develop mobile and web applications with agile development methodologies and principles

Participate in planning, design, development, and implementation for multiple initiatives

Play a role in project/iteration planning sessions, ensuring proposed short-term estimates are achievable and realistic

Develop technical system design documents, QA Automation scripts

Contribute to process-improvement initiatives in an effort to help the team deliver faster What you will bring to the team:

An innovative mindset What you will need for success:

5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer

2+ years of experience using React Native framework

Comfortable with large, complex CSS structures

Enthusiasm for improving development best practices, patterns and architecture across teams

Technical experience that includes strength in multiple software engineering technologies utilized in our stack (Javascript ES6, React, React Native)

Experience with implementing unit tests Experience with the following technologies is a plus:

Languages: JavaScript, CSS, HTML, TypeScript

Tech: Node, Express, Redux, Webpack, Babel, Git, React-Testing-Library
