Job description
Role & responsibilities
- Maintain day-to-day books of accounts (Cash Book, Bank Book, Ledger)
- Record sales, purchases, expenses, and receipts
Prepare and file GST returns:
- GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-2B reconciliation
- Compute TDS/TCS and ensure timely payment
- File TDS returns (24Q, 26Q, etc.)
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Profit & Loss
- Balance Sheet
- Cash Flow Statement
- Process monthly payroll
- Calculate salary, incentives, deductions
- Ensure PF, ESI, PT deductions and filings
- Maintain employee salary records
- Handle vendor payments & reconciliation
- Track accounts receivable & payable
Preferred candidate profile
- Knowledge of GST & Income Tax
- Strong in Tally / Accounting software
- Understanding of Indian statutory laws
- Attention to detail & compliance mindset
