We’re looking for a hands-on Production Operations Engineer to maintain, monitor, and support our production systems. You’ll be responsible for ensuring uptime, stability, and performance across our AWS-based infrastructure and React/Node.js application stack (including a React Native mobile app). This is not a feature development role—it’s about keeping the system running smoothly, responding to incidents, and continuously improving operational processes and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

● Monitor and maintain all production systems, including AWS-hosted microservices and front-end applications.

● Handle Tier 2 / Tier 3 production support, identifying and resolving system issues, outages, or performance bottlenecks.

● Manage CI/CD pipelines, assist with production releases, and ensure smooth deployment processes.

● Maintain system documentation, including runbooks, operational manuals, and troubleshooting guides.

● Respond to incidents according to established procedures, perform root-cause analysis, and implement preventive measures.

● Work closely with the engineering team to understand system architecture, dependencies, and key operational metrics.

● Contribute to scaling the ops team, defining processes, and onboarding additional support as the system and team grow.

● 3+ years of experience in production operations, site reliability, or DevOps support roles.

● Strong experience with AWS services (EC2, ECS/EKS, RDS, S3, CloudWatch, IAM, etc.).

● Proficiency with Node.js and React.js, and familiarity with React Native environments.

● Experience managing microservice architectures in production.

● Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, release processes, and common deployment tools.

● Strong incident management and system monitoring skills.

● Excellent documentation and communication abilities.

● Experience working with medium-to-large codebases and understanding backend–frontend interactions.

Preferred Qualifications:

● Experience in startup or scale-up environments.

● Familiarity with monitoring and alerting tools (Datadog, New Relic, Prometheus, etc.).

● Understanding of ITIL processes or production support best practices.

● Ability to work flexible hours or on-call shifts during production releases.

  • Fully remote.
  • Flexible timings. You decide your work scheduled.
  • Market competitive compensation (in $$).
  • Insane learning and growth
