About Rhythms
We're building the world's first AI Operating System for organizations - transforming how teams work together through intelligent workflows and deep integrations.
Founded by proven entrepreneurs behind Chronus and Ally.io (acquired by Microsoft), we’ve raised a record-setting $26M seed round from top-tier investors including Accel, Madrona, and GreenOaks, earning GeekWire’s 2024 Deal of the Year.
Our platform uses multi-agent AI and deep integrations with tools like Slack, Teams, Jira, and Linear to streamline the entire team operating system — from meetings and KPI tracking to OKRs and strategic planning. We turn team activity into intelligent workflows, automate manual tasks, and help teams build a shared, growing organizational memory.
We're looking for a Product Designer to help invent how AI and humans collaborate at work. You'll share our obsession with solving real customer problems, especially as Rhythms evolves from strategic alignment tool to comprehensive operating system.
Why this role:
Invent new ways of working: The playbook for AI-powered products is being written right now. If you’re already experimenting with Cursor, leveraging AI copilots in your workflow, and curious about how AI changes engineering, you’ll thrive here.
Build for organizational intelligence: You’ll shape software that understands how work actually happens across teams — surfacing insights and enabling actions in ways that feel natural and powerful.
Work on category-defining software: Rhythms is where strategy, execution, and collaboration meet. You’ll help make enterprise software that people actually love to use.
Join a team that cares deeply about craft: Our engineers, designers, and product thinkers sweat the details — from system performance to interaction polish — because craft creates real customer value.
In this role, you will:
Ship production-quality UI using React, TypeScript, and modern frameworks — building features that power how organizations run their daily operations.
Collaborate with design and product to turn Figma explorations and customer insights into performant, elegant, and accessible interfaces.
Design and evolve our front-end architecture — reusable component libraries, design systems, and scalable state management.
Optimize for performance and reliability across complex workflows and integrations, ensuring smooth experiences for enterprise-scale customers.
Experiment with AI in engineering — whether that’s prototyping new UI patterns, building AI-driven interactions, or using AI tools to accelerate development.
Ship continuously — partner closely with backend engineers and designers to test ideas quickly, learn from production usage, and iterate rapidly.
Your background looks something like:
5–10 years experience building and shipping complex front-end applications used by real customers.
Strong expertise in React, TypeScript, and modern front-end tooling (e.g. Vite, Next.js, Tailwind).
Experience with design systems, component libraries, and accessibility best practices.
A track record of building performant, reliable, and maintainable front-end codebases.
Comfort working in ambiguous, fast-changing environments, figuring out what to build as much as how to build it.
Natural curiosity about new tools and workflows, especially AI — and how they can improve your craft.
Strong systems thinking: you understand how front-end, backend, design, and customer needs connect.
As a person, you:
Measure success by what ships and the impact it creates for customers.
Value collaboration and push teammates to raise the bar.
Work from first principles but know when to apply proven patterns.
Stay curious — about products, tools, technology, and how organizations work.eturn
About the opportunity
We’re building something transformative, and we’re looking for engineers who see AI as fundamentally changing how we build and use software. We offer competitive compensation, meaningful equity, and the chance to define how front-end engineering works in an AI-native company.
If you’ve been looking for a role where engineering means more than writing code — where you can help build the future of work itself — we’d love to hear from you.
