Rocket Communications is an enterprise UX Design company focused on designing mission-critical applications and systems. We are seeking 2 Front End Developers proficient in React to join our Engineering Team. Your expertise will be critical in helping our team create user experiences for some of our nation’s most challenging space app UX challenges.

We are a small but fast-growing company, and your work will have a direct impact on the success of our business and team members. Our work can be challenging and complex, but our team is fun, friendly, supportive, and the work is rewarding. We work remotely from home (pre, mid, and post-pandemic) and are adept at collaborating with online tools.

About You

You have 2+ years of experience developing complex web applications with modern technologies
You are proficient with front-end technologies (HTML5, CSS, Javascript ES6+) and modern frameworks like React, Angular, Vue, & Stencil
You possess a strong knowledge of core web technologies like DOM behavior and APIs, HTML rendering etc
You are able to translate designs accurately while maintaining a high level of code quality
You understand software design patterns, principles, and best practices
You have worked on complex projects with limited oversight
You are knowledgeable about agile development methodologies
You are willing to participate in developing and maintaining a healthy developer culture through documentation, code reviews, cross-functional collaboration, and mentorship opportunities
You have the ability to occasionally travel to clients (typically once a quarter)
Due to Rocket's work with local and federal government agencies US Citizenship is required, and you must be willing to apply for a DoD Security Clearance upon being hired
