About the Internship

We’re looking for a Full-Stack Engineering Intern who’s passionate about building scalable, modular applications with clean architecture. You’ll be part of a small, senior-led team shipping production-grade systems for AI voice agents, LLM-based assessment workflows, real-time scoring, and analytics dashboards.

This is an unpaid internship lasting 3–6 months, ideal for a strong junior-to-mid-level developer looking to level up under startup conditions. If things go well and you're interested in continuing, we’re open to offering equity and a paid role.

What You’ll Do

• Build and optimize frontend components and backend APIs that power real-time AI interviews and candidate workflows

• Collaborate on a design system shared across our admin dashboards, candidate portals, and internal tools

• Integrate with AI services like OpenAI, ElevenLabs, Whisper, and others—via REST/WebSockets—for conversational interfaces

• Write modular, well-tested code using technologies like React, Next.js, Node.js, PostgreSQL, and Python

• Help improve our developer workflows using tools like Cursor, GitHub Copilot, and modern LLM-based IDE assistants

• Participate in code reviews, testing strategy discussions, and architectural planning

What We’re Looking For

We’re not expecting you to be an expert in everything—but we are looking for strong technical reasoning and clear communication, especially around:

• Problem-solving: You should be able to walk us through a specific example of a recent project—what was hard, what broke, and how you fixed it

• Component architecture: Understanding of scalable and reusable design patterns in large frontend systems

• Performance tuning: Familiarity with things like lazy loading, memoization, and code splitting

• Testing mindset: Experience or curiosity with Jest, React Testing Library, and Cypress

• Design systems: Experience implementing and evolving design libraries in collaboration with product and design

• Networking fundamentals: You should understand sockets, HTTP versions, and when to use WebSockets over HTTP/2

• Conversational AI systems: Interest in using APIs from OpenAI, Whisper, ElevenLabs, Perplexity, or similar

• AI coding tools: Familiarity with IDEs like Cursor, and ability to leverage AI tools for speed and code quality

• Model selection: Awareness of LLM trade-offs between GPT-4, Claude, Mistral, or OSS models—and when to switch
