Job Description

Your primary focus will be the development of server-side logic, design and maintenance, ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from our clients.

Writing reusable, testable, and efficient code

Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as git and Github

Design and implementation of low-latency, highly-available, and performance applications

Strong proficiency with JavaScript and Node.js and React

Knowledge of Node.js frameworks such as Express

Knowledge and experience using Webpack

Be able to use/develop GraphQL API

Understanding the nature of asynchronous programming and its quirks and workarounds

Good understanding of server-side template languages

Create back-end code and interfaces for new web platforms

User authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments

Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable applications

Implementation of security and data protection

Integration of data storage solutions using PostgreSQL and Redis databases

Creating database schema that represent and support business processes

Implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests

Responsive website design

Good understanding of server-side CSS pre-processors such as SASS

Understanding differences between multiple delivery platforms, such as mobile vs. desktop, and optimizing output to match the specific platform

Analyze user needs to implement web site content, graphics, performance, and capacity
