At STX Next, we are developing the JavaScript Technology Department based on a growing community of enthusiasts. Despite often working remotely and dispersed, we collaborate on various initiatives and actively participate in meetups related to technologies such as React, React Native, Node and others (we are participants, speakers, and organizers). We aim to seize every opportunity to meet in person, work together as a team, and integrate.

We approach our technical skills in a holistic manner, expanding our expertise both in terms of seniority and specialization in React, React Native, Angular, Vue, Node.js and other technologies. We stay up to date with the latest trends, monitor emerging frameworks and libraries. Whenever possible, we utilize AI to enhance efficiency, improve work comfort, and achieve even better results.

Key responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain applications
• Create clean, maintainable, scalable and efficient code
• Troubleshoot and debug applications
• Implement security and data protection
• Identify programming bottlenecks and bugs and find fixes
• Collaborate with team members for continuous improvement
• Stay up-to-date with new technology trends
• Spreading knowledge about new and relevant technologies among the development team.
• Coding features (data access, business logic and UI), fixing bugs and writing unit tests.
• Testing and documenting (if required to help the team achieve goals).
• Conduct code reviews of other team members.

Requirements

Must have:

• Very good knowledge of latest JavaScript standards.
• Demonstrated experience with React.
• Good understanding of web markup, including HTML5 and CSS3.
• Experience with Next.js.
• Ability to write unit tests on frontend and backend (React Testing Library, Jest).
• Experience in using code versioning platforms, such as GitHub, GitLab or BitBucket.
• Good communication skills in English (minimum B2).
• Team spirit! 

Nice to have:

• Experience with other front-end frameworks (Vue, Svelte, Angular) and React Native.
• Good knowledge of Node.js.
• Experience with production-ready frameworks: Express.js, NestJS.
• Experience in high-traffic and high-volume cloud applications.
• Being able to handle various types of databases: SQL (Postgres), NoSQL (MongoDB), key-value (Redis).
