We are looking for a highly motivated Senior Software Engineer to design and build the next generation of SugarCRM software products and tools. In this key role you will be working as a full-stack engineer developing front end and back end components for various products. To be successful in this role you place a strong emphasis on delivering reliable, maintainable, and scalable solutions that run in high volume, high availability environments. You must be able to work independently, be willing to offer advice to peers and colleagues, and be able to see projects through to completion. You will have exceptional project organization and communication skills, be able to present ideas and concepts to a wide audience, and work well in cross-functional teams.

Impact you will make in the role:

Produce high-quality software on schedule
Extend and optimize current software architecture
Perform design and code reviews regularly
Explore and evangelize new software design and architecture
Challenge and learn from your peers
Mentor less experienced team members
Develop Proofs of Concept to continually improve processes and products

Expertise you will bring in:

5+ years of experience with enterprise software development and/or distributed SaaS systems
5+ years of practical Object Oriented Programming
5+ years of software programming for the web is required
Client side, server side and data store experience is required
3+ years of experience with creating and consuming RESTful APIs
3+ years of experience with emerging languages and technologies, such as:
React, Golang, NodeJS, Kubernetes
3+ years of experience with cloud services
Experience with microservices, containers, and pipelines is desirable
Experience with continuous delivery and/or continuous integration is required
Ability to write unit tests required
Experience with test automation is desirable
Experience with Agile software development tools and/or methodologies is required
Excellent communication skills across a global cross-functional audience
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field, or 7+ years relevant work experience
