Our Client is redefining how businesses pay and get paid — giving companies real-time control and flexibility over their payments. Their platform connects cards, banks, and accounting systems into one secure, intelligent experience. We’re growing our front-end team to accelerate new features, improve performance, and deliver exceptional UX across our web portal and partner-integrated experiences.
About the Role:
As a Front-End Web Developer, you’ll be responsible for building scalable, performant, and maintainable interfaces using React, TypeScript, and Material-UI. You’ll collaborate closely with our Technical Lead and back-end, product, and design teams to deliver intuitive and reliable user experiences across our clients B2B payments platform. This role is ideal for someone who’s comfortable working in a fast-paced fintech environment, passionate about clean code, and experienced in optimizing complex React applications
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop responsive, accessible web interfaces using React, TypeScript, and Material-UI (MUI).
- Collaborate with design and product teams to translate Sketch/UI concepts into production-ready components.
- Optimize performance across large React applications (bundle size, render cycles, memoization, network efficiency).
- Manage complex form logic and validation using Formik and Yup.
- Integrate with RESTful APIs and third-party services (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Places, internal APIs).
- Implement and maintain Redux-based state management with clean architecture.
- Participate in code reviews, enforce best practices, and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
- Support CI/CD processes in collaboration with the DevOps team, including troubleshooting production build issues.
- Write and maintain unit and integration tests using Jest or equivalent frameworks.
- Contribute to the ongoing migration and modularization of our portal architecture.
- 5–8 years of hands-on experience with React and TypeScript.
- Strong understanding of React Hooks, Functional Components, React Router, and React-DOM.
- Proven experience with Redux, Material-UI, and Formik/Yup.
- Strong foundation in HTML5, CSS3/SCSS, and responsive design.
- Solid understanding of performance optimization techniques (lazy loading, code splitting, memoization, re-render control).
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs, JSON, and modern authentication (JWT, OAuth).
- Version control using Git/GitHub/BitBucket and familiarity with Agile (Jira).
Desirable:
- Prior experience integrating analytics or third-party APIs (e.g., GA, Places API).
- Understanding of internationalization frameworks such as React-i18next.
- Knowledge of build and deployment pipelines
Benefits:
- Flexibility in work hours and location, with a focus on managing energy rather than time.(Minimum 4 hours over lap with GMT-4 (New York) timezone)
- Access to online learning platforms and a budget for professional development
- A collaborative, no-silos environment, encouraging learning and growth across teams
- A dynamic social culture with team lunches, social events, and opportunities for creative input
